Paul’s prayer for the Ephesian believers is deeply spiritual and Christ-centered. He doesn’t pray for material blessings or an easier life but for something far greater: inner strength through the Spirit. True strength doesn’t come from ourselves but from the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us.
When we surrender to Christ, He makes His home in our hearts. This is not a temporary visit—it’s a permanent dwelling. As we trust Him daily, our faith becomes like roots that grow deeper into the soil of His love. These roots give us stability, nourishment, and resilience, especially when life’s storms come.
Being rooted in God’s love means that our entire life—our identity, purpose, and actions—draws strength from His unfailing love. Without this deep connection, our faith can easily be shaken.

Lord, thank You for the strength You provide through Your Spirit. I ask that Christ may dwell more fully in my heart as I trust in Him daily. Let my roots grow deep into Your unfailing love so that I may stand firm in every season. Help me reflect Your love to others, living with confidence and purpose. Keep me anchored in You, for apart from You I can do nothing. Amen
